D’anna came in several weeks ago with her friend Jaci when we shot one of her senior model shoots. We all had a blast, and D’anna decided she wanted me to take her senior pictures! So, we scheduled an indoor shoot and did that last week. We got some very fun and beautiful images that I think match D’anna quite well! Here’s a few!

Amanda came in this past week for her last senior model shoot. It was pretty darn cold that afternoon!! When I went into the studio, there was sunshine, and by the time her appointment rolled around, it was overcast! Not the good kind! But, we got some amazing images, found a new SUPER COOL location that I’m really excited about! It’s a secret. Even with the cold, she did fantastic!
Here’s a few from her session!

This past week I was asked to shoot the Carthage Youth Wrestling team! That was a total blast! They were practicing in one area while I was shooting in another. I can tell you, they are some tough young boys! I sure wouldn’t want to wrestle them! I’m pretty sure I’d dislocate a shoulder or something to that effect!
Thank you for having Life Captured take the Carthage Youth Wrestling photo’s! Best of luck for the season!!
I wanted to do something a little different, giving the images a gritty feel to them. Here are a few from the shoot!

I’m a member of WPPI – Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. They have a trade show, workshop’s, and a print competition in March. The trade show is in Vegas, but since I’ll be a new daddy around that time…I think it’s a good idea I stay home for this one! But, I’ll be heading out that way in 2011. The print competition is a big deal, and the entries come from all over the world!! I’m excited about my entries for this years competition, and hopefully come away with an accolade of excellence on some of these, if not all! I can only hope! These are all entered into the Portrait – Senior Category.
Here are the images and their titles!

Jordynn came in last week for some head shots she needed to send in for a possible internship at Student Life. I’ve shot Jordynn before, and she’s a total blast…I’m not sure which one of us is more of a jokester! (Jokester is apparently not a word according to spell check!). We had a great time, and ended up with some fantastic images for her to submit as head shots for her internship! Best of luck Jordynn and let me know when you find out something!!!

When Sam came for her senior shoot last fall, she was really wanting to do some pictures in the snow. Her and her family love to go skiing, so here in Missouri, this was about as close as we could get! The first snow we had, I was out of town…so, as luck would have it, mother nature provided us another opportunity! For there being snow on the ground, it turned out to be a nice afternoon. A little chilly, but, the lighting was fantastic. We found a few rustic locations, some snow still on some trees…just beautiful!
