Audrey was born just a few short weeks ago and Kate and Jason brought her in for a newborn shoot! I’m excited for Audrey’s little milestones this year! She weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 1/2 inches long! She’s going to be a tall girl! She was so precious when she came in!

I love my baby plans! It’s amazing how fast these babies grow up! Cardin is no exception! From Christmas to now he’s changed so much in just three months! I was excited for this shoot as it allowed me to use my new natural light studio area.
I just happened to buy some travel trunks right before his shoot as some props, and Hannah had brought an outfit that was perfect for this! Old style hat and cute clothes to match!

My baby girl arrived on February 23rd, a couple weeks early! She was ready to hang out and be rocked in Daddy’s arms! Nicole, Luke and I are so excited for this little bundle of joy to come into our lives! She’s precious! I call her my little garden cherub… LOL! That’s what she looks like! Cute as can be! Luke has been the best big brother, and is REALLY proud of her! Thanks Luke for being so awesome! And Nicole is doing great and has fallen right into the roll of being a mom! I love you Nicole!
I’m SUPER excited about this nice weather we’ve been having the past couple days, and hope and pray that spring is finally around the corner!

I was recently in Nashville for a photography workshop/conference and had such an amazing time! It was AWESOME! I’m so excited to share with you some good things that came of it, which I’ll do in the next few days, but one of my highlights was getting to have lunch with Sandy Puc! For those of you that know here…then, you know where I’m coming from! For those of you that don’t, you should totally Google her name! She’s without a doubt the most famous baby and child photographer in the world! For anyone that is trying to break into the photography world, especially babies and children, you should go and attend one of her tours that she does! She’s amazing, funny, and so full of knowledge, it’s truly unbelievable! A great experience!
She happened to be attending this same workshop I was at, and I thought “what the heck, I’m going to ask her to lunch!” She gladly accepted! My friend Brent and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get to know her a little, and just had a great time! Brent and I thought it would be funny since she’s famous, and like we’re not, to autograph the picture we had taken of the three of us and give it to her. We thought it was funny, and I think she did too! I wrote: “Stay Classy Sandy! – Joshua”

My Milestone babies grow up soooo fast! Avery is no exception! It was just this time last year that I was doing their newborn shoot!! Now she’s walking! At this rate, I’m going to get old fast! This shoot was one of the last warm days of summer a few weeks ago. Avery was smiling and having a great time playing in the water! Isn’t she adorable??

About a week ago, I got to hang out with Hollis one morning. What a cool name! And a handsome young boy at that! It was an outdoor shoot… which for a one year old boy, is way to go! He had free range of each of our shooting locations, allowing him to be his happy little self! We had a great morning and ended up with some wonderful images!

It seems that my clients that get the Milestone’s package for their newborns…their babies grow up too fast! I have some canvas displays up that are a couple of my favorite images, and they are from London’s newborn session! Fast forward a year….

Camden is awesome. There’s some kids that are just full of character and make you smile…and Camden is one of those kids!
His Grandpa and a friend brought out a couple old cars they had for us to use for this shoot. We got some amazing images, and as expected, Camden didn’t let us down with his great expressions!

Josh and Missi are great friends of my wife and I, and I had the pleasure of doing a shoot for their little boy Keaton! He just turned one! We went with a baseball and Cardinals theme for the shoot which turned out perfect! I’m excited they are raising Keaton as a Cardinals Fan!!

Hannah and Dustin came in a couple weeks ago with their new little boy Cardin! He was born June 14th, so, got him in just in time for his newborn shoot. I’m going to say…I’m a little jealous of his hair! Already sport’n a fohawk! If I had hair…I’d have one too!
Congratulations Hannah and Dustin! You have a beautiful little boy! But you know that already!
